Terms of Service

These terms govern your access to and use of the Hawklist service. By using Hawklist, you agree to them.

Acceptance of terms

By accessing the Hawklist website or installing and using the Hawklist app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using Hawklist on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business.

The service

Hawklist provides a Shopify Signal Layer that captures purchase events server-side and delivers them to Meta CAPI and Google Ads Channels to recover conversion data that client-side tracking loses. Features and pricing are described on our website and may change as the service evolves.

Your account

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the account information you provide.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account and for safeguarding your credentials.
  • You must comply with Shopify's terms and the policies of the ad platforms you connect.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including attempts to access it through unauthorized means, disrupt it, or use it in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.

Subscriptions and payment

Paid plans are billed on the terms shown at checkout and renew until cancelled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing for future billing periods with reasonable notice.

Intellectual property

Hawklist retains all rights to the service, software, and content we make available. You retain all rights to your store data. Nothing in these terms grants you ownership of the Hawklist service or its marks.

Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hawklist is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breaches of these terms or where required by law, with notice where reasonably possible.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Hawklist is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date above and, where appropriate, by direct notice.
